What we do

Paperworks is a social enterprise that provides work skills training and personalised support for adults with learning and physical disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. We offer a unique work-based environment where trainees undertake real tasks for real commercial clients. Our training package is supplemented by a wellbeing programme of scheduled activities and project work throughout the year.

Our aim is to empower and develop trainees’ work skills with tailored support, enabling them to complete a variety of tasks for our commercial partners. Trainees are supported to enable them to be involved at every stage of the fulfilment process and they love seeing a job through, from receiving an order to shipping it out.

 

We have a wide range of commercial clients that enable us to offer work skills training appropriate to trainees’ support needs at a pace to suit them. Some of our commercial patrons have been with us for over a decade and are proud their work leads to training opportunities for service users. Equally, trainees are keen to know about the customer they are working for; it encourages a sense of ownership in the task and trainees understand why we work to such high standards.

  • Pick, pack and despatch orders on a daily basis

  • Mailouts

  • Creating bespoke products such as hampers

  • Stock taking of client products

  • Dealing with client enquiries

  • Admin work
